Hi, there! I’m Drew McDowell. I’m a UX/UI Designer based in Huntsville, AL with a focus on front-end web development. I’m currently the Web UI Designer for The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and I serve as the Web Director for Urban Engine, an non-profit focused on driving innovation in Huntsville. I have a degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and I’m currently finishing a graduate-level UX certificate program at UAH (Go Chargers!).
I’m passionate about all things related to design, including:
Most of all, I’m passionate about using thoughtful design to solve real problems for real people.
In my free time I enjoy playing music, travelling, building projects big and small in my garage, learning about new technology and ideas, watching all the Netflix, and spending as much time as possible with my wife and son (soon to be sons).
